HOW A REAL RECOVERY WORKS
Two paths, depending on the size of your claim.
Here's something almost nobody knows. The moment your money crosses $1,000, California stops taking your word for it. Under the state's Unclaimed Property Law, a claim that size has to be notarized — signed in front of a licensed notary who confirms you're actually you. It isn't red tape for its own sake: the State is releasing real cash it can never claw back, so for larger sums it adds one more identity checkpoint to stop someone else from walking off with your money. Reasonable rule. Also the exact moment the process goes from "easy" to "ugh" for most people. That's the wall — and we built the door.

THE PART NOBODY SOLVES
Bring the notary to your device.
Every other recovery service hands you the hard part — you get the affirmation notarized. Find a notary, book a slot, drive across town, pay at the counter. We built that step straight into your claim: verify by secure video and notarize online, right from your phone, usually in minutes. No appointment, no driving, no leaving the couch.
Most services make you find your own notary. We don't.
